This should probably be stickied so that we can complain about the useless and overbearing guide.

In all seriousness, his censoring is way way way overbearing. With the level of shit that goes on in game, we do not need such a carebear forum where anything that isn't circlejerking is deleted.
I've had two of my posts get deleted purely because I used the B word in them. Both of them were very clearly in jest and not offensive in any manner. I've also had a joke I made towards CD deleted, who even said it was funny in game.

By the way: I die a little inside every time I see the "girls in mah VO?" thread and know that I cannot rip him a new arsehole (in a polite, passive aggressive/sarcastic manner that would be tolerated by Mein Furher).

Somewhere around 40% of original intent is lost in the written word. I tend to read things from more than one viewpoint, and ask myself how they could be interpreted. Things are not always so clear on the internet as when one is in person. I have to take into consideration not only your possible intent, but how it might be viewed by someone who is not familiar with the game, the person who it is directed to etc...

Your apparent need to point out something so blatantly obvious tells us quite a bit about your cognitive abilities, and therefor... you should be removed as a guide.

@Phaser: one of the posts was "Go sleep, bitch" directed at Espy. I don't possible know how that could be construed as bad by anyone except a 6 year old (who, unarguably, should not be playing this game). Another was "Get on my level, bitch" directed at Snk after I thoroughly refuted his attempt at making a humor thread. I could see how this could be interpreted as "bad", but it was very obviously playful.
My comment about CD's rear speaks for itself. Gurls got ass.

While it is true that there are many excellent people here, moderation is sometimes needed to help set the tone. We could create a fine mesh of rules and regulations but, whenever humans are involved, there there must be some subjectivity. A moderator's every action is logged, and we take the extra step of logging our actions for the devs and other guides. I wish that those the most vociferous complainers could be forced to moderate the forums and be held up to the same microscopic scrutiny and abuse.
I have no quarrel with Phaserlight's actions to date, and I appreciate his efforts to foster a welcoming environment.
