So, even if you have no interest in the Rift, take some solace that exposure is good for the game, and it didn't take us long to do.

exposing yourself, not taking very long... I HAVE NEEDS!

And it looks like I need to save up $300! Congrats, guys. I'm sure my family will stop cursing "that silly space game" once I strap on VR goggles and ignore them completely.

well if it didnt take too much time to do then im less peeved. But even if it didnt take long to impliment, it still adds another device to the list of things that need updating and fixing as time goes by, which means less time for improvements that many of us would find more meaningful. I know this tpoic has been addressed already so I'll leave it there.

Give in to the Dork Side, Greenwall! Only through VR will you achieve true situational awareness!

Here's how something can look with a cockpit (obviously this is not what you'd really see with a Rift on, but I can still feel it):

Greenwall: the Rift is a specialized monitor-with-sensors you strap to your face. It's not a new platform, it's a new display.

LOL, currently I play at the kitchen counter, I'll definitely need to clean out a room upstairs if I'm gonna wear that head gear! (oh and I will be wearing that head gear! :'))

yeah it is pretty cool and one of the reasons i got into this game. though the support right now could be better. the view ports seem a bit too small so things feel a bit "boxed in" and maybe the fov can be adjusted as well as somehow not making the hud seem to "wobble" a bit when you look around maybe some sort of hud scaling option that would be great as well. Overall not bad but needs a few tweaks which i hope they will add in more updates :-) the drift correction would be a big plus as well!

Vendetta Online's adoption of the technology is the best so far, it reckons, and makes others look a bit shabby.

I wish I had one of these things. :)
