I talk for XC with crap engines without turboing and if gets in storm full loaded is dead !!!!

Also i know how fast is the Tridents .....and dont have problem to stay in stormy sectors for a long time ....anyway my point is for Traders/Builders is that the game (traveling and if can more safely... )....for fighter/pvpers looking for troubles and hunting everything moved in space near them and more.....

Agreed Wolfman , very good missions and the game, need more missions for getting depth...so, for old timers getting back in game and also to make it more motivating for new players !

As crappy as the engines on the XC are, it's still faster than a Trident. It's nobody's fault but your own if you don't use turbo. All the Stygian Furies in the 'verse won't save you if you make no attempt to escape.

Anyway, travel time only matters when you go to the station to first get them. You can tell the furies to recall anywhere in space and they'll go back on their own.

Why u dont understand how many players dont want to have any interaction with others and only collect money and stop playing why cant buy anything ???

U know how many ppls came online and play 2hours for example and do only trade missions or kill bots and make money but dont have time to find and negotiate ??????????

What from ALL this u dont understand???

U know how many quit the game when understand VO dont have Market/Auction and the simply one , worried on chat why that happens or hows can trade and when get the answer need to interaction in space with other players the only say is bye????????

What u dont understand from this Devs???

I can play for only 2 hours (example) and can make money to buy all things i need to manufacture items /equipments and dont have market to buy rare ores or an Auction to buy manufactured weapons /addons or anything?

I play for atleast 13 hours EVERYDAY and most hours im online is dead timezone for VO and i have talk with many players ....something who many dont do it this ...im stay to channel 1 why most of the players or have close the channel 1 or never answer /helping newcomers ....

What u dont understand from all this ppls of VO and Devs????

U know how many ppls sure continued to play this game if excist an Auction station where TGFT can place there ready parts of Trident or even me when i want some money to CAN sell some FFSA ????

I want only to make trade mission ....i like only to fly in 3D space and have alot of money but i dont want to speak to any or my playing time is few OR EVEN AFRAID TO interactive with ppls in space (why not?) the most easy thing in VO to be killed from rats/pirates ....WHAT IN HEKL CONTINUE TO PAY AND PLAY if i cant buy/sell something in a Market/Auction???

U know how many times i have advertise for SSS and i speak many whos afraid to sell me why this time online is atleast 1 pirates or he believes im pirate and im steal his cargo or dont give his money, something very easy to can happen or happen in VO???

Whats is the purpose to make money ....i dont want to do pvp ...and from bots i lost very few ships ...and collects many good loots and i dont know where i can sell them......whats my game target then ????

Sorry for all this but just try to give some food for thinking .....i love this game and i cant play other game now, but many things need to proved and make this game more ....unique???

I think a player market set at Commerce Stations might be a good thing however you can mitigate the need to avoid rats etc by storing yer stuff in a reasonably safe location. If the devs implement a player market there's the risk the rats and griefers will hit transports leaving market sectors so its back to square one.

Why not make the transactions "virtually". The traded items remain where they are, just exchange player ID. The buyer will have to travel to the specific station to retrieve the purchased things. If players want more comfortable business they can ferry the requested goods to a common station, and do the business there.

The trade interface could be like the givemoney command. Just some more parameters are needed for extended functionelity. Which items from which sectors of the seller should be exchanged to which items from which sectors of the buyer. This bargain method will settle in reasonable exchange rates very soon.

I think the point Faceof is trying to make is more that you can invest time in the game to make credits, but you can't invest the credits without massive amounts more time. There is no easy or remotely worthwhile credit sink besides paying other players to take care of things you don't want to, and because of the sparse playerbase, that's a crapshoot. And I kind of agree with the words I just put in his mouth.

This is however not a thread to rant about how a few new missions created by a talented volunteer don't work to fix your pet peeves...

I stopped playing when getting credits to buy stuff transformed into doing proc missions with a defenseless XC in grey space.

Yes, although lately it seems like every thread, now matter how well received it may initially be, devolves into that.

Can we just focus on how nice it was for these PCC members to make some cool content?

I am working on economic re-balancing and other money-related content for the next few months, but that's a subject for another, totally unrelated post. If people want to ask for things, do it on Suggestions.

The orion missions vanish after a while. Any advice on the number of times they can be taken in a given time?

Orion Special Operation: 10 times in a day
Orion Command: 5 times in a day

The above limits are for attempts (includes completions, failures, and aborts). Additionally, Orion Special Operation can be completed a total of 10 times ever. The same goes for Orion Command. Hire a Squadron can be taken once per day with no limit on the total number of completions. These limits are in place to prevent them from being exploited. I would have set a limit on the completions in some time period instead (so they would never become permanently unavailable for any given character), but the editor doesn't support that functionality.

I'll soon be submitting updated versions of Orion Command and Hire a Squadron that reduce the interface lag after issuing commands. I'm also thinking that the timers on both missions should be increased by 50%; 15 minutes at the end of Orion Command instead of 10, and 45 minutes for Hire a Squadron instead of 30. I'm interested in hearing how people feel about that idea. I think it would make those two missions more fun and useful, hopefully without making them unbalanced. Thoughts?
