"3.2? I'd prefer 3.1's."

I wasn't here during 3.1, so I wouldn't know.

>>And as a sidenote, please dont attempt caps of Serco during your battle in s13, I really dont want an innocent sporting event that I will work to see turn into a slugfest of militaristic forces from the 3 nations that will be represented

LMFAO!
would you kindly explain the difference between the two...

The consensus seems to be to have the war in 9. I like that a lot better than 13. In 9 nobody has a home advantage.
Apr 24, 2004 Magus link
Actually, in 9 Itani get a home advantage because it's shorter to bring their valks from 4. Nobody brings Marauders into a fight so NT home advantage isn't a factor. Unfortunately, 10 is just as bad as 9 in that respect and 11 is not kind on FPS. Since the prom is slower than mollases though, an S13 home advantage isn't a big deal. Personally, I think it should be at the S5 outpost or S16, but that's just me.

Magus has a point, although s9 would prevent faster reinforce using any other craft. Hopefully you fighter jocks out there can handle blasting some Itani guys to smithereens over and over to prevent them from being rich enough to buy a Valkyrie :P

Random: Good point

Except its in 13. Right? I thought that's where everyone decided to have it. Right now it looks like we might have two seperate wars going on...
Apr 24, 2004 quiveri link
it is in s13.
Apr 24, 2004 roguelazer link
Yeah, war is s13. The roid cave is too 1337 to pass up.
Apr 24, 2004 andreas link
I am actually more concerned about people WH hopping to 12.
Apr 24, 2004 ctishman link
Bah. Let them hop. What matters is the carnage. I'm content to fight whomever wanders in front of my reticule.
Apr 24, 2004 Pyroman_Ace link
here here ctishman!

Yeah, my only concern is that some Itani Fighters will use the large number of craft in s13 as a distraction to Serconian forces and cap us while our forces are already too involved in s13 to respond to the cap.
Apr 24, 2004 MonkRX link
erm, s13 dock is only like 5k meters away from the s12 warp... and with most serconians using either valks or proms, it wouldn't be a really smart idea to cap.

I might not make it, I might have to attend some party... darn... (its my Parent's family-friend party... DARN).
Apr 25, 2004 Archon link
Nah, capping will not be a problem. Should any Neutral or Itani be as stupid as to try, they wouldn't even get out of sector 12 alive.

War times:

20:00 GMT
16:00 US/Eastern
13:00 US/Pacific

Times are for 4/25/2004
Apr 25, 2004 UncleDave link
No.

20:00 GMT = 15:00 EST and 12:00 PST.
Apr 25, 2004 sapo_sk link
hmm, most of the world is on daylight savings time right now though. Are these daylight times or standard times? (EST/GMT implies standard times which are an hour off from what the clocks in US or Britian say right now)

thnx
Apr 25, 2004 roguelazer link
Okay, I'll fix it. So I wrote EST instead of EDT. Or w/e.
Apr 25, 2004 Starfisher link
4:00pm Eastern Standard time, is (according to this helpful little system clock) 9:00pm GMT.

or 1600 translates into 2100.

So basically, the battle is actually at 2100 GMT?
Apr 25, 2004 ctishman link
Yep. 2100 GMT
Apr 25, 2004 roguelazer link
No. 2000GMT. We're on EDT now because it's Eastern DAYLIGHT Time. I mixed up what I said. 4PM EDT is 8PM GMT.
