Yey, update!
After a short testdrive I can only conclude: Its better.

Advanced missions are playable again, you do not get skillpoints for killing ships that aren't your targets. You get a different kind of ship to target each time. Bonus appears to be fixed at +250/180/180 for each five bots in your mission.

The new ships are a neat addon (hey, the transports look really cool)

Scale appears to be an issue in the game currently, the Centaur looks just as large as Warthog, which doesn't seem too cool. (especially not as it moves.. slowly.)

Overall, it will take me a load of time to go up to 9500 skillpoints in weapons, and thats utterly annoying, mainly because the game has now changed from "kill as many as you can" to "run as fast as you can across sector 12"

I think the main issue is really that the sectors are crowded with players now.

Yeah, we REALLY need either more bots, or more sectors. There are so many people botting in homesectors that it's near impossible to level up because it takes so long to find a bot that: a) is the correct level, and b) isn't running away from you.

Agreed, The bots still run away, and even with the increase, there is simply not enough...New universe soon though, hopefully that'll bring some good changes....(botting sectors!)

Hahaha...you just need to find youself a spawn area, then you'll have no problem getting to the bots :D

Would anyone care to tell me where the spawn point for II bots in s6 is? That way I can get some better ships and get rid of asshats like Euhun Centaur or whatever the hell his name is. Killing me in s13 for some cargo that was available in HIS home sector. ONE sector away. What did you get for that -- 70 credits? You foolish child. I laugh in your face. Anyway....

Not sure if this was already mentioned but... please for the love of god do something about those sentry/drone II combo combat missions!! Traveling back and forth between s12 and s11 just to get a bot or two isn't worth the paltry bonuses we're given. It could either be all sentries or all drone II bots, but a mix of 'em is just too much work for so little gain. Plleeaaaase, I'm beggin' ya. At the very least replace some of the s5 or s8 bots with some sentries so their availability is acceptable.

/me likes idea of "no docking since mission" but it's way to difficult with sentry bots. It can be implemented on last level wit h drones (since it quite i easy to kill them)

I think the no docking would be a nice alternative combat training mission (with sentries, or other tougher bots), which could offer higher XP bonuses.

As said, force more teamplay, so the bots are enough!

If much more total exp can be gained by destroying a bot with 5 players (i.e. everyone of the 5 gets 50% (or teamed 60% so 300% total), so 250% total compared to 100%), there won't be any bot shortage anymore... for mor details read my posting in suggestions: "Force more teamplay!!"
