Motherships

Just wondering, but what's so special about the Motherships that earns them the name?

All that cargo they drop :P

Although it is a good question. Why are motherships worth so much XP if they are so easy to kill? Yeah, they have a ton of xp but you can dodge their one graviton so easily it's just a matter of time.

Probably because they have so many hull points.

Motherships? Where are these located?

Anywhere where there are Assault IIIs to guard 'em.

Motherships are presently broken anyway. Are they even firing back at you now?

Very slowly with one graviton, last night. Consistently missed my Rag MK III if I simply sidestepped down constantly.

mm. in a small ship they do constantly miss you if you strafe down. even the AIIIs do that for me... *but be in a very thin ship like vult.

I was in a Rag MKIII. And the AIII's had an easier time hitting me in my Border Centurion than they did with the Rag.. it was odd, to say the least.
