I agree. Especially when player-pirates learn to lie in wait in storm sectors. Flying from Geil to Odia I counted 8 storms that I ran into. Imho, I think they should be toned down to about half their current frequency.

A new loading screen message that you should add:
remember, while your characters don't have to eat, YOU do. (Props to who remembers where this comes from)

I've been flying all over the place (even into NT territory and getting killed) and I haven't had a storm yet.

Pelatus m12 and o16 have storms, evoli. :-)

Been hit twice by storms on two ill fated trading runs. (Ill fated because cargo missions seem to be hosed ATM).

Some of us must have gotten the /givemoney "Guild Software" 1000000 bind to work. :-Þ

Well there's your problem mcnut, you've got the format wrong. You were trying to give a player named "1000" Guild Software credits instead of giving a player named "Guild Software" 1000 credits. Remeber to put the name in quotes. And randomize is correct. It's give LOTS of money. 1000 credits is chump change.
