The hog is a flying weapon platform with good agility. Anyone who knows what they're donig with it can wreck havoc on their foes.
Ask a pirate about sneak attacks you say? Unless someone is drunk, high, asleep, or talking on the phone, you wont get sneak attacks. See that little thing in the left and right lower corners of the screen? You see a nice red dot when a pirate is around. And people see that. And haul ass.
The hog carries all the firepower you need in a fight, stick a jackhammer and adv. gattlin on it, and you get a hog of death is some people's hands. I've seen Valks forced to cut and run when they tried taking on a hog.

Or my preferred build against vults: gausses + jackhammers. Agaisnt valks, agt + sunflares.
Agasint flagcarriers, sunflares/geminis + swarms.
Really the hog is a great ship for any somewhat more defensively inclined person. Although I prefer the prom hands down above any other type of semi agile ship.
And yes, the centuar, hornet and rag are the most crappy ships, considering their is no use for their lumbering destructioncapacity, just yet... Unless maybe in botting (in which the hornet rocks)

In pvp against a similarly skilled oponent you would rather be in a hog? Are yall serious or are yall just trying to screw with my head? :)

Anyway clearly my opinion is just that my opinion, I look forward to being challenged by the "hog jocks" asap :) and I would love to see Hog wolfpacks on the tradeing lanes.

Don't mind mutorcs, he's just a little delusional after getting killed in a Vulture by my Warthog in Itani space. Incidentially, it was the first blood I spilled after the full reset.

Arotle, are you crazy? Now Hogs are the bomb for non pvp like botting, which is what I had been doing when you pop out a station and get in one lucky shot on my 13% remaining botting machine.
