Hi im new here and was wondering what Nation i should belong to is there a site or info with the goods and bads of each and is there anyway to change after you have selected one
Neutral Territories is neutral to both major nations (Itani and Serco).
Itani is at war with Serco, therefor you start with a hated score with them.

Why would you get flamed for that? It's perfectly true. The only problem I can see is that you don't get said ships until a bit later in the game...

Neutral Territories no longer exists. The correct term is Union of Independent Territories or UIT for short.
semaja2: I'd recommend you read the background story. It describes the nature of the three factions and links some of the History's.
(Its mainly written from an Itani stand point).
Although the ships are one consideration, the game is balanced to the most part and they may not be the most important factors overall from a RP standpoint later on.
If you have friends online here.. you'll always be better off on a side where you know ppl. That said I have made good friends from all three of the nations, so ATM, its just a matter of preference.

If you're into PvP I'd recommend Serco or Itani

>Itani if you like super-maneuverable fighters
If you're into trading go for Neutral Territories.
And yes, if you have a spare hour or two read the backstory to get an idea of the historical setting.

yeh ive read the backstory all of it took 2hours but when i got into the games a a itani i finaly goto the intani system but the bots keep killing me to easy how do i verse other players cuz they must all be docked
Are you sure your Itani?
the Itani station guards shouldn't be attacking you if your UIT or Itani, however if your serco then the guards will attack on sight.

semaja2, I'm not totally clear on what you are saying here. It appears you are saying that you decided to join the Itani Nation, but then you go on to say that you travelled to the Itani system and were killed by bots?
As for fighting live players, you could /join 100 and ask where people are on that channel and request to /duel somebody.
