This standing system works on a reverse points. Thus if you got 1st place out of 6 racers, you get 6 points, not one, etc etc. DNF get 0 points for the first DNF, -1 points for every one thereafter. The standings are ordered by the points, not the placement percentages. Take into account the number of races the racer has been in when looking at the percentages.
