The tequila-tasting session put on in the Makchuga quickly degenerated into a buswar (as planned) late Tuesday night. Every time a pilot got killed, he/she had to take a shot before launching back out into the fray. Stock bus only. Stock gun, stock battery, stock bus. Buy the ship, take yer shot and go!

There were many participants, however the participation was skewed heavily to the UIT side. In fact, for most of the event there were only 2 Itani and 2 Serco pilots, with 7 or 8 UIT pilots. Big thanks to everyone who participated.

It was a fun event, we'll do this every tuesday night whenever I can muster up enough energy to roll out of bed that early. *hic*

For me, the event went something like this:
1) Take shot of tequila.
2) Leave station
3) Turbo...turbo...turbo towards the big IceYo
4) Acquire UIT target in my sights. Sneak up on him and land a string of ion blasters!
5) Target goes "oh crap" and turns to face me, we fight.
6) Rest of UIT go "Hey! LeberMac the Target Drone is back!" and start shooting.
7) Amid a hail of 7-on1 ion fire that resembles a red ion storm, I manage to squeeze off one meager kill whilst taking heavy damage.
8) 'ol spuck sneaks up behind me for the final kill shot and pops me. While I'm furiously trying (and failing) to dodge fire from all directions. Heh. I think I accounted for 10 of his kills last night.
9) hurrrk-<bleh> LeberMac dies & respawns at the bar, luckily.
10) repeat.

Highlight of my night: Killing a certain UIT from ~700 m away when he thought he was safe. Ha HA! The noble bus gun can be a great sniper weapon!

It was a blast. I think we all got a lotta bus PK's. Although next time we need more red and blue players.

Extra-special thanks to the person who repaired me in the fray to allow that particular combat session to last almost 15 minutes.

Heh, it was ReplayeR, and I think this session finished when I started dueling with him. Noble bus versus Hornet with canon, thanks to repairgun it had no rockets. He taked me away in a minute, I hope that was enough to kill Leber :)

It's sad to say, but we had a cheater in Hornet on the UIT side too.

Um, You guys are welcome to have Tequila Tuesday whenever you feel like. HOWEVER - This week I have a conflict, so I think either you can all do it again at an earlier time, or we can do Tequila Thursdays.

OOC: Main problem here: I'll get home from work, feed kids, get act together and that'll put my earliest ETA for any weekday event at 6:30 - 7:00 or so US Central time (which is like midnight 12:00 GMT I think now with daylight savings time and all.)

I'm willing to make attempts to host these from the drink-providing end, if others will deal with the buswar organization.

Also, if you want to make a poster, Leber, I'll make a special newspost on the Mak's site for it. Maybe we can get Solra to set up an "Events" sub-page for us to use (which could result in people emailing the crew with prospective events that they want to hold at the Makchuga and subsequently having the crew put those events on the sub-page).
