Your point moldy? It stated in the one in general that it was a double post to try to reach as many people as possible :-)

Only the stock/free bus is allowed. Of course it would be an honor for any devs or guides that are able to join us. Consider this a special invitation. :-)

I shall partake, as toshiro (barring any unforeseen emergencies).

Can someone please clarify the time on this? I'm pretty sure that 1 PM CDT and 7 PM GMT are not the same.

Yes, CDT and GMT are five hours apart, not six.

So the time should be mentioned like "according to /time that will be..."

Arrgh, and that AM/PM thing always get me confused. I keep on forgeting what does it mean. 24h time rules :)

I think the bit about /time needs to be reiterated over and over again.

/time returns the server time, converted to GMT. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is not the same as BST (British Summer Time). This means that all of you people who whine about /time being incorrect need to shove your BST-set clocks somewhere and understand that this is a game server based in the US, where we don't particularly care if you have some equivalent of Daylight Savings Time.

When a time is given for an event in GMT, that time is when the event starts according to typing /time in your VO console, and no other time.

I'll make this rant simpler for those who need a short version: GMT is not BST. /time returns GMT, and that is the clock that Vendetta Online runs on.

I wish I could go - i'm going to be out of town, however.

Ok here are the times in several time zones :-):

1 pm cdt- US

7pm - UK

6 pm/18:00 - UTC/GMT

No, /time gets the time from the client and adjusts that to gmt. Which can be pretty inaccurate.

I'd use something like time.org as reference.

Dont forget to arrive ten mins early so we can log your kills before the war starts. :-)
