I like UIT because no other factions hate me at the start and I prefer to play the good guy. I still have combat opportunities against dastardly pirates and during events, though, so it's all good.

It's all about TPG, they've built the best cappie, the teradon, and have some of the best looking ships in the game... Unfortunately the raptor sux, but let's not discuss that :P
But on a national scale, I'd have to go with UIT, mostley because I find the cause for the war somewhat pointless.

I was a goodie two-shoes Itani once, wanting to naively be the good guy who saves the universe, then a change of heart came. Besides, playing the (what is usually assumed the by the larger player population) "bad guy" is much more fun.
