Yes I know, Im late posting this but the weather didnt want to agree with
me being online...hehe.

Anyway this LMS was better than the first, after a few glitches that is...

First the levi ring I scouted out the night before was gone, so with an hour
left til starting time, with the few we had at the time we knew it was going to be hard to get the sector clear, with the help of Obs, we got the levi gone, but those pesky bots still wouldnt leave us.

Well to make a long story a wee bit shorter, again with Obsidians help
we made it to a nice quiet sector with a beautiful ring. Enter our 14 contestants :

After all the hullabaloo trying to get to this point, things went smoothly from there. Everyone was able to shoot everyone else, again thanks to Obs. We went over the rules and then everyone was off, and what a melee it was, I could hardly keep up with who was shooting who and who was eliminated when, so if the others would post their comments I would appreciate it. Also the ship setup you had, I know everyone will want to know.

After an intense battle it was down to the final three, Ghost, Niki and Blue Max. Blue fell next and it was a slugfest between Ghost and Niki, but Ghost popped Niki to take the title.

Ghost took home 3 million credits.
Niki received 2 million credits.
Blue Max rounded out the top three with 1 million credits.

I will post all of this to the CLM website with your trophies beside your ship and name and have that link ready tomorrow sometime. Thanks to everyone that participated and if there is enough interest we are considering doing this once a month. So if you enjoyed yourself let me know and I will start planning the one for July.

Joyce was flying a Vult 3 with sunnies and gauss. She locked on Malicious' hog almost immediately and attacked. He managed to dodge a number of flares, and during the fight one or two people flew by and took shots at her, so she had to disengage at least twice to avoid being surrounded. Incredibly, Malicious clung to her, wanting to finish their fight. Joyce ran out of flares but by then Malicious was nearly gone, and she hoped to take him out with the Gauss; but just then Ghost flew in and attacked. Once again she broke off, but Ghost was unshakeable; she decided to take a risk and do a 180 to face him, but he was expecting this and got her jsut as she came about, and that was it.

GF's all, this was fun! Thx to mystic and obsidian for tolerating us =).
