hey i'm all for the resurection of a serco driven guild, but the name...
does it have to be "ROTC", or even "revenge of the" anything.
it's too military training-ish, it's cheesy, it's laughable, it's just not that good.
yes i am being quite a jerk about it, but the name strikes fear in no-one. plus, i believe that the serco guild will return on their own accounts. there were reasons for their absence, but once the time passes, they will return.

I concur with Doctor Doak. We all had our reason for leaving, more importantly, the name really does, suck. If you want it to be a guild in honor of SCAR's tradition, call it something more militaryish, something that would make the rest of us old guilders proud of a name to carry on the torch.

For what it means I'd like to see the Serco nation back in action.

The Serco Dominion is very small in numbers, active players-wise. Then there's the relatively high grade of heterogeneity within the faction, which effectively spoils pretty much any attempt to create a military guild that spans a good part of the nation (or, rather, its active user base). The fact that some are already in a guild and possibly don't want to join another (even with an alt) further worsens the situation.
Before genuinely promising attempts at such endeavours can be made, I suggest waiting for a larger influx of users, all the while bearing in mind the delay required to make the new players combat-worthy personnel (not counting exceptional fighters).
