I don't generally go around correcting all the myriad grammatical errors people make. I make too many myself for that to fly. (For instance I am ignoring millenium's spelling error/typo in the message he posted below toshiro's post.)
However lose (looz) vs. loose (loos) is a pet peeve of mine... it is not simply a typo or grammatical error but rather a substitution of one word with similar spelling and similar meaning for another. This is a linguistic error, and for those I WILL rip new assholes. Word meanings are important, we have too much of this "You know what I mean," shit going around... No, I DON'T know what you mean... unless you SAY it. I should have to guess your intended meaning? I don't think so. Learn to use english properly or DON'T USE IT.

Just for the record: I was merely trying to prove a point to FatStrat85. It IS possible to learn quite a few languages. Our brain is pretty adept at doing that. Quite a few players do NOT speak english as their first language, but they are quite adept at it, as far as I can judge something like that. I know that does not amount to much, seeing that my first language isn't english, either, but still it's intelligible and usually devoid of typos.

And secondly it's not an off-topic response if I am responding to posts that others have made... point the finger at them maybe. And... if you are saying the original post was off topic... then say that.
Thirdly, it is NOT a spelling error and you know it... I have seen loose used instead of lose far too often for it to be a spelling error, and if it was, why is it always loose replacing lose? Surely if it was just spelling/typo it'd go the other way sometimes.
