381st Nation War

Feb 16, 2014 Kierky link
The 381st Nation War was held Sunday at 2100 GMT in Latos D-2. The participating teams were Itani, Serco, and UIT. All weapons and most ships were allowed, the trident was banned.

Today's prize contained 50,000,000 credits donated by:

[ITAN]
_______________

Not a bad turn-out, sixteen [16] participants considering the usual host didn't turn up, Ancient Panther took over the job with 10 minutes before the start. No Grey team this round.

tisit decided to turbo fully into the Serco team, getting obliterated. The Itani team engaged the UIT to begin, destroying wolfman, while Serco hung back. A chase led Phaserlight around to the Serco, waiting for the Itani. Battle then erupted between the Serco and Itani, bringing down several Itani members. The UIT soon fell and as the battle went on, the Itani suffered more casualties than the Serco, leading to the outnumbering of the Itani team, till AP remained against 3 Serco. Bringing down Solra Bizna in his Prometheus, AP was then shot down by Sieger.

Sieger and Shatterdome won the Nation War for the Serco, they split the 50 million credit prize, congratulations.

Thanks to all who turned up despite not much warning, and until next time, cheers!

I'm terribly sorry for my sudden absence at a most critical time. Should I be on at the appropriate time for the next Nation War (382nd) I will add the previous and current donations for a combined 20mil. Thank you for scrambling on a lack of notice, anyone can host and organize for the event, so don't put all your hopes on an individual should our best laid plans go awry.

As for my reasons for not showing up to host or participate in the Nation War, I was trapped on Dominus in Betheshee with no way to communicate to the outside. A tiresome lot live there and they apparently needed labor for felling lumber, so that's my pitiful excuse for leaving so many eager pilots high and dry on their past-time killing activities.

Again, I'm terribly sorry for not giving prior notice to my sudden absence. And, if you feel the need to express any concerns to me then leave a form and I'll get back to you.

That's all good mate, if I'm there I'll usually pick it up if I don't see you 20 mins prior to the start.
I'm beginning to host Midweek Nation Wars, so I don't mind.
