PvP is a problem!
Everyone hates PvP. Just a few threads to illustrate my point:

Now, obviously, these aren't nearly all the thread on the subject, I just got a bit tired of looking for more. Anyway, have some quotes:
"pvp sucks" --Icarus
"booo pvp is boring" --Phoenix
"pvp is so over-rated!" --Homestarrunner
Now, as I have already established with a few cleverly linked threads and quotes from well-respected peaceful traders, PvP is a major rabbit hole on the road to establishing vendetta as the "Hundreds of single-player games linked by a unified chat system, with real-time combat to boot!" game it strives to be. Introducing mining was a good first step, but we can do better!
There are many ways to eliminate PvP, some more or less high-impact than others, but I think I have the best way.
It's quite simple, really. All you have to do is make players entirely transparent to each other! If they don't know that someone else is in the sector, how are they going to kill each other? What's best, barely anyone will notice! How are they going to when barely anything changed?
Anyway, as always, I know for a fact that this suggestion has no faults and really needs no further discussion, but if you can think up of any other ideas of how to get rid of pvp, please share. I'll have thought of them already, but others might find it edumacational.
