Extra Birthday Money, Choices suck....

Aug 29, 2005 MonkRX link
Well first off, hello everyone. I had a Birthday Party earlier this month, and now I have a little extra money to spend on something. . . I want to ask you which one of these things you would choose if you had around ~100-200 dollars to spend.

But... I don't post here much, so you don't know what stuff I *already* have :).

So here it is.. (This post may seem inconsisitant because some of the content may of been previously posted on several different forums of all types of people).

Topic 1, about a new Monitor. This will just show you some pix of my setup.

Technics AM/FM Tuner
Technics 5 Disc MASH CD Changer
Technics 1 Disc MASH CD Player
Technics Dual Deck Tape Deck
Technics 7 Band Equalizer
Apex DVD-Player
Xbox With DVD Playback Kit
Sony Triniton 27" TV

(Two) Technics SB-A33 Three-Way Speakers
(Two) Throw-Away RCA Speakers on top of the TV for show (I don't use them, they sound like sht)

Unknown Wattage on the Amp. I found one source saying 130wpc. Speakers are 260w a piece. 1" Dome Cloth Tweeter, 5 1/4" Midrange, two 10" Woofers.

Now that you know my setup..

This is what is what I have to choose between:

Nice Rear Speakers with similar specs as the one above. (Floorstanding with two 10" Woofers)

OR

Improve my sleep with a 3" Memory Foam Topper. Similar to Tempurpedic beds found in Brookstone, or other memory foam products you've probably tried in any bed store.

Basically, sleep, or listen to music till dawn. Its a hard choice, and I don't have much time to think about it.. If you know any other item within ~150 bucks that might intrest me, post it!

myrest.com for beds.

While I still lived at my mother's house (no, I wasn't kicked out, she moved cross-country) I had a crappy mattress that I had a lot of trouble sleeping on--eventually mom gave up listening to my whining about my "not being able to sleep" and we *all* got Tempurpedic mattresses. (Mom had had sleeping trouble too.) Suffice to say, no more sleep problems (not to mention my back pains in the morning were somewhat lessened).

That mattress is now out at her new house, but I use it when I visit, so it's a fair trade off. I don't go there much (I don't get along with her that well) but when I am there at least I can sleep through her tirades. :D

New desk chair? That thing looks pretty uncomfortable.
