Oh and 1 more question, who is Sherpa that I keep hearing about from Impartial? Is Sherpa a person or a NPC with special powers that can make people unable to talk and ban people? Also is Sherpa a "guide", whatever that is, too?

Thanks SL. I'm also "Shepherd" on gold and "0racle" on blue (that's a zero, not an "O"). My job is to help out new users, police our "no verbal abuse" and "Be Nice" policies, and keep an eye out for bugs and problems. I don't have "all" of the powers, but I have the ones SL mentioned, plus teleport and a few others. As you may have read, all of my actions are logged and reviewed.

I'm here to aid the play-testers and the new users, and to try and maintain a supportive community. Not everyone agrees with my actions all the time, which is their right. A user who can be civil most of the time will probably never hear so much as a warning from me.

Sherpa is a person from way back that was approached by the developers to moderate us mortals. The developers have given him basically all of the super commands like mute, ban, kill, etc.

Sherpa is the guide and the forum moderator.

And FM (Forum Moderator) gets to listen to all of us whine and complain too. which is why we like him so much. In addition to everything else he gets he also get the cool ubernifty dev engines. :)

Anyhow, welcome to the game and I hope you become as addicted as the rest of us. :)
