Yesterday I boarded the UIT Capital ship and then headed into battle. I was unfortunate enough to be in the ships turret meneu when it did a sector jump. When we come out of the jump, my screen is all screwed up, with funky colors everywhere, and just generaly blah.

So I ended up restarting my computer and logging back in. Now my HUD says that I'm in my own ship, but nothing works, no chat, no movement, exept primary fire. I appear to be just stuck in space. I can't /explode either, because I can't access the chat box. Its still like that when I log on.

Any ideas? Can I get my location reset, or something?

Odd, I made a new pilot, and the moment I leave the station, I get the same thing, only in the chat box it says "you must disable mouselook mode before you can use the keyboard or joystick", so before logging in, I do so in the options meneu. Now my new pilot can fly about, but still no keyboard!

A clean reinstall dosen't change anything either...

Did you disable mouselook?

Yes, and the joystick works fine, but the keyboard remains unusable.

can you configure your keyboard in the controls menu still? this sounds like a really weird glitch :)

I got it now! All the keyboard bindings got blown alway, even after I reinstalled! Geez!

Is this a Windows machine?

Your config probably was corrupted when you restarted, and uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't touch the existing config.

Yes it is, so it most likely was.

Delete or rename the wgaf.cfg file in your Vendetta folder and restart the game. It will recreate the wgaf.cfg and you should be back in business. If that doesn't work, after uninstalling the game, delete the whole Vendetta folder and reinstall the game from scratch.
