10-27-10, ~23:20 GMT, Sedina F-10, Critical Hive Skirmish, ion storm. The queen jumped out, and a minute or so later, jumped back in. The rest of the sector and battle went on normally, except the tridents stayed put. I have no explanation at all.

I have seen that before. Queen was mining, then turbo and jumped away, and came back shortly after. Since I was able to reload and kill it when it was coming back, all fine for me.

I saw that queen as well. She warped to C-8, if I remember right. I didn't check, but I'd be willing to be that's the levi sector.

maybe no one has ever hung out in a crit long enough or at the right time to see it return its mined goods to a levi?

I've come across queens who decided to go back to the levi sector multiple times during a critical. A couple of times a new crit spawned in the sector while she was travelling, resulting in 2 queens..

The thing is she would leave every couple minutes, which doesn't seem right. If it was every fifteen+ minutes, then it would just be a cool feature. I wonder it it's related to the fact that the storm exit point was right in the middle of where the fight was, due to how the exits were moved.

I think you're right. I've never seen anything like this in storm crits before.

I believe this (and the related 2-queens situation) is fixed in tonight's update.
