weapon grouping issues...

just noticed this tonight, and idk if its been going on or if its a new thing, or if its how the game's intended to operate, but to me it seems like a malfunction so:

if i set:
primary1 to left
primary2 to front
primary3 to right (itani valkyre.. probably the ship is irrelevant, or number of wpns/ports)
primary 4 to left
primary 5 to front
primary6 to all 3

and

secondary1 nothing
secondary2 nothing
secondary3 nothing
secondary4 left
secondary5 left+right
secondary6 front
(this's just the setup of the ship ingame atm, s4 added for testing purposes)

and i come outta the station without selecting a wpn group after having cleared EVERYTHING then setting weapons to groups, it defaults to group 1 and only fires left on primary1.

then if i switch to, say, group 5 with a left+right secondary, then back to any of group 1 to 3 there's still a L+R secondary fire evn after i've pressed F1 (my g1 button) to go back to group 1.

and if i switch to g4 with its secondary left, then back to any of group 1-3 there's still a secondary fire of left wpn.

i'm unsure if this is proper operation or improper.. dosent seem like it should work like its working, so figured i'd tell about it here in the bug forum :)

might also involve tertiary fire, not sure, and too tired to try it atm..

nah, what i'm talking about is just a weapon still being on the secondary trigger of group1 when the only group its secondary on is group2 (like if the weapon of group 1 isnt on both primary and secondary triggers)

as someone might do with a flare+agt setup since the agt has a huge autoaim cone.. something like flare(s) on both groups primary and the agt only on the second group's secondary trigger... switch back to group1 with just flare(s) on primary and nothing on that group's secondary and the agt will still be attached to the secondary trigger despite there being nothing on group1's secondary trigger (from what i've noticed)

I can confirm this is a bug.

An easy way to reproduce it is to first clear the first 3 weapons groups. Then in group 1 assign a weapon to fire only on the primary trigger, for group 2 assign that weapon to fire only on the secondary trigger, and for group 3 assign that weapon to fire only on the tertiary trigger.

Then you'll find that the weapon fires on all 3 triggers regardless of which of the first 3 weapons groups is selected.
