This may have been mentioned before, but I'm too lazy to google so I'll post this anyway.

When you manufacture a trident through the insurance mission, the new trident becomes your selected ship. If you then try to configure the ship, the previous ship is shown as the ship to be configured. You have to select a different ship and then reselect the trident in order to configure it.
