I was logging off in space today when I was immediately taken to the login screen after entering /logoff in the chat window rather than waiting for a timer to run down. I tested this multiple times, including without plugins. Upon logging back in, the ship I had docked with was back in space, a short distance behind my goliath. I did not test this using my trident.

I am running VO on Windows 11.

I think that capships are considered stations in this and other regards, hence the automatic log off. I never considered this a bug.. If it is and it does change it will probably affect a lot of capships plugins.

The above is correct. You can log off when docked but not controlling a capship because it is considered a station. It then dumps you out into space because it's not actually a station. This occurs with Goliaths and Tridents.
