Sometimes it ends up in the message chat, sometimes in the mission chat (it seems WH jumps go into mission chat, in-system into global). In the mission chat you can't scroll back to see where you came from and in global chat colors get lost when you scroll back. Just minor things but anyway ...

It just goes into whatever tab you currently have open.
