The display that is.

Anyhow, when in flight, I cannot see any chat, although when I hit ` or f4 I can see it but not manuever. Shift 1 does not work nor does /hidelog (obviously I suppose)

If it matters, I am running on a Mac

hmmm, /hidelog should turn it back on. Be aware tho that typing in /hidelog from the ` console will not produce an immideate result, as the chatlog is hidden when the console is up.

You will have to open the console, type /hidelog, then close the console to see the chat again.

You probably attempted to hide or unhide the HUD using f4 while warping between sectors or docking.

isn't there some key that takes it down like o or something? mess around with the keys, but make sure you know which one you press so you can turn back on whatever you turn off.

I think one of the function keys does it.
