Multiple waypoint bugs

Dec 21, 2004 Beolach link
When setting multiple waypoints, if you are holding space to place the first waypoint, it does not get set as a jump destination, and pressing activate at >3000m gives "You are already at your destination."

Also, I hope the using space for setting waypoints is only a temporary fix & will use shift eventually, because using space limits you to placing waypoints in one system. If you try to hold space to place waypoints in another system, the space activates the Universe Map & Zoom to System buttons, so you bounce back & forth & can't really get to the other system. If shift-clicking turns out to be not possible/too difficult, another way that might work for setting multiple waypoints in multiple systems would be to have double-clicking on a WH sector switch to the system on the other side of the WH.

Shift works in Windows. Space is only for Linux and Mac OS folken while the devs figure out how to make shift-click work.

True. But if the forum allowed sigs, one I might use would be "I do not dual-boot". And it does sound like it is only meant to be a temporary quick-fix, I'm just pointing out that there is a minor problem with it, so please don't just leave it as being "good enough" - it's not good enough.

It IS a temporary fix. Guild has always been very good about striving to make the game the same across platforms (funky video card issues sometimes get in the way)

Ok, both issues are fixed in the next patch 1.1.6.2
