Lost Ship ???
My character is currently in the Azek System, sector C-14. When I click on the
"Select Ship" button and cycle through my available ships, my Vulture Mk III is
stated to be located thus: "This ship is in Azek 14." Yes, there is NO letter
co-ordinate stated in the message. The only station in the "14 row" in the Azek
system is in column "C." I cannot select the ship while in Azek C-14. Is this ship
lost forever ??

Um, strange. I'll have to check that out. Is your character name the same as your username?
Are you sure it doesn't say "I-4?"

Scroll down on the Character Info tab, it lists all your ships and their current location.
Umm... I'm an almost complete BOZO !! Thanks to Solra Bizna for pointing out my
error and/or lack of concentration. I do however, have a (somewhat weak?) defence:
In the Map Screen, the sectors are designated as "I-4" as opposed to the Select Ship
Screen, where they are written "I4." Note the lack of a hyphen in the latter example.
This might be the ultimate source of my confusion. It may require a LOT of typing,
but would it be possible to include the hyphen in the Select Ship Screen? This would
be more consistant, and would be a lot clearer. Sorry for my mistake.

The inconsistency of the hyphen is one thing that bugs me about this game. Fix it in other places as well... could we post them as we find them, or will you find them on their own?

In general, it's not used when the mission-bot talks to you, or when the server says, "Entering %System% %Sector%" the only time I have seen it used is on the map.
