While flying around grey space I've noticed a number of NPCs whose names are in black or dark grey (corvus and Kraz I think), which turns out to be really hard to read against the hud background. These should probably be a different color.

More of a suggestion than a bug, but yes, the Corvus (Kraz) bots are hard to read against the black of space. Fluorescent magenta anyone?

They're bots. We aren't really needing to read those names.

well I always tend to think that the black letters with the funny thin outline was a bug of some sort. It looks so... cheap... I dunno. If there were no reason to read the names, then why have them at all? It's all in the name of environment. The devs are trying to give the impression that it's a real place we're flying around in. While I like the concept that Corvus ships have black names, it's really impossible to read. Maybe if they were dark gray? Or maybe the outline around the black should be thicker and look more intentional.

I kind of like them being hard to read. It gives Kraz sort of an edgy feel. They don't think they need to comply with the man's galactic font standards. You know, they're like: It's not my problem if you can't read my pilot name, fly on n00b...

They really live on the edge, don't they.
