Attempting to launch the VO app (on WinXP) generates an error dialog which states: "Unable to connect to Guild Softare update server. Please re-run the application to re-try."

Re-trying several times produces the same error and I am unable to enter into the game.

Edit: *slaps* self after reading the news section of the site regarding server downtime. GL w/the server update(s).

Thx yoda for the .exe work-around.

On windows a quick fix is to rename the vendetta.rlb to v.exe (a good idea is to copy it first, then rename the copy) and then run it... ...the v.exe will work until the next update - the server does not go down lots, but they have announced in *in progress* there may be a few issues..
