It's not ever worked at least for mac. just thought i'd mention it

Confirmed...[command]+u doesn't change from system to universe but [command]+z does take you back to system view from universe view.

(not Mac specific)

That's because that button is stupid.
The shortcut is the same for both versions of the button. The underline just doesn't go away for 'Universe'
