Is it possible for a UIT to get 1000 faction? and if yes how is it done
Lots and lots of time. The rate at which you gain faction points is a curve, slowing down as you get higher. So when you reach 999 points, it will take quite awhile to get 1000.
From my experience and from what others have told me, UIT POS is impossible to get. Serco and Itani are the only 2 doable ones, but even then Itani is very difficult to get, Serco is the easiest POS.
From what I hear, once you're at +999 the curve steepens so sharply that unless you're doing 12-jump bulk procurement runs of 400 units each your standing isn't affected at all.

One reason why Serco and Itani are the only ones doable for POS is because of the trade missions, most trade missions (the big ones at least which give the most faction, XP, etc...) are centered around UIT space, therefore the farther away from UIT space you are the better the missions get. Serco have 11 jump bulk procurement, thats is why they are easier to get POS. But the biggest Itani missions are only 10 jump, so thats why they're a little harder to get POS. The biggest missions that UIT can get is nowhere near that of Serco and Itani and that is why it's impossible to get POS with UIT.
@Solra Bizna: Yes, Once you get to +999 it is VERY sharp, to the point that you have to do bigger and bigger missions because the more you do the more the little ones don't affect standing at all.
I have heard that CTC affects standing a little bit, but the people who have said that says that it would take forever, but that doesn't solve the problem for UIT POS, since you can't deliver there.
I've also heard of a rumour about killing an enemy NPC within the no-fire zone, that you get faction from that, but again it doesn't solve the UIT POS problem due to that UIT doesn't have any enemies.
Botting won't work either because once you get +980 it doesn't affect standing anymore.
If someone does know a way of getting UIT POS, please tell because we'd all like to know :)

Just kill someone who's KOS UIT while in UIT space. That should do it.
if so, that's somewhat unfair. I'm Itani and killing a player who is KOS UiT in UiT space gave me nothing. but, a Uit should be able to get POS Serco and Itani, well, at least Serco, as I have POS Serco and Itani.
