Some locked threads (like the "Wiki Down" thread in Community Projects) still have a reply to thread button, but it doesn't work. Uhh?

I think that is becuase there are some people who can still reply like the forum moderator. The button is here for his convience and works for him.

But why don't all locked threads have the button? Is it only recently locked threads? Only threads with a special flag?

Hmm. That used to happen and then was fixed...I thought. I can't really tell from my account. If you are able to see the button on some threads but not others, then there's a problem.

Yup, same here.

Right now, any locked thread I look at it has the "reply to this thread" link. I can't see any that don't have it (but I do remember in the past locked threads didn't have it).
