I'm not suggesting getting like outside of game things into it. But there are some stations with large flat faces on them --- perfect for what i would think the futuristic version of a billboard - it could be used to do some faux advertising of products of corperations in the game - or whatever you might want. Though not specifically related to game play i think it would add some realism to the outsides of the station.

I suppose the content of the station-boards could be whatever - but i feel it would be very cool to fly into a sector and see a stations billboards do that switch thing that those billboards do today.... I hope this made sense.

I have been in game. Those are more like street signs.... I want huge expansive things, Either on the stations' faces (like the one in the VO banner on top of your page has a very big usable side) or in that kind of translucent projection which you have pointed out roguelazer.

it might add a tiny amount to the game if the baners included graphicks instead of just writing. but i can't bring myself to say that this would make any noticable change in the gameplay experience

The problem with graphics is it would make the vendetta download larger. The devs came up with GTS to be able to create a diverse set of sings, adds, etc without drastically increasing the length of time it takes everyone to download the game.

Eldrad, are you trying to tell me using those symbols saves disk/download space??? Having 26 letters and then using those to put together words seems a rather compact approach to me (not in terms of screen space though).

We used to have a billboard for holodisks. I'm not sure why it went away. And yes, unique graphics would increase load times. Using a lexicon of common symbols, textures, etc. enables shorter loading times. Andreas, Eldrad posted about graphics, not letters. Anyway, consider it Suggested.

I would like to see BLAK graffiti on the side of stations in grey space. :D
