Just something that poped in my head today, and could be useful, but not all that important. Have your guild acronym listed in the sector list, if you are not in a guild it would remain blank or say N/A or something.

Example: Name; Dragon of Fire, Nation; Serco, Guild; EnB

That way people would generally know what guilds are in the sector and you wouldn't have to find and target someone to find out their guild.

Good idea. It should actually be there since the symbol is in the name when you target someone.

Make it something like this
Name Nation
[EnB]Dragon of Fire Serco

Then I would know, without even having to look anywhere but your name, that you were my destined target.

Aprooved, but I'd like to append something to this: it should also display ship type in the sector list. So, something like this:

I'm going to get flamed for this, since this idea seems to be popular. But, this is a discussion forum - if everyone said yes, there wouldn't be much to talk about :-P

I'm not in a guild. I really don't understand why this would be a nice feature, or even a wanted one. The only benefit I can see from this is that it will make it easier to 'seek out members of guild X'. There's already a database of Guilds - and it tells you when you target.

I'm indifferent as to whether or not the acronym appears in the sector list - but if that was to be implemented what would be next? Ship type? (as Harry suggest...), then ship health? Why not list the weapons and ship mass too? It may sound silly now, but, inch by inch, and you can get anywhere. Why not?

I'd just like to point out that it was originally my stamp of approval! Miiiiiiine! And now I use it on this thread. *stamp*

sounds good (allso jumps on the band wagon and stamps with his own stamp of approval), but there whould be little need to actuly wite serco at the side the color of the name whould still tell us that and it's allways worked for me so far.
