They say that the EC is massed produced yet there are only four variants.
Why not have a whole lot of variants like cargo-runner and "heavy-support".
I belive that the EC should have a greater purpose in the VO world.

well there are those two other custom busses as well... but not as if any normal player can realistically hope to fly them.

mass production doesn't inply variation. if anything the opposit is true.

yes, yes, many cars have a series of mass produced variants, but that isn't an artafat of mass production. mass production means building large quantities of identicle units as efficently as posable. Yes, multiple versions can be simultaniously mass produced, but that isn't required.

i think paedric's quote says it best. that is the way mass production was untill peole demanded variation and customization, something not enharent in the precess.
