Three letters...UFO's!!!!

Okay, To all the devs. Thx YOU for this wonderfull game. I will do my best to repect your judgement.
What if every so often a saucer shaped npc is found. And is HOSTILE. If you get the chance to see one you take a quick screenshot cause its gonna kill. It's so advance it wont let you jump or warp. All you can do is look and die. But its should only be in grey space cause it stays away from society. Like, their should only be one and it travels at lightspeed so you can't out manuever it. Something for those pirates or traders who are just sitting by wormholes. The purpose of it is to be a "Super Pirate" and something to say "hey whats that, oh ****" BOOOM!!

have you not seen the little green space man in his flying saucer yet???

I still think adding the npc pirates flying corvus specials around would be dangerous enougn if they where out in force.

Okay, that's just weird and story breaking.
NPC Pirates? How about we get more people to play, and have real pirates?

Fnugget, since the devs do not wish to market the game correctly till the development of the game is more towards a more finished state, there will never be the population needed to truely have pirates and traders and all that jazz. SOOO, in the mean time, WHY NOT?? add NPC pirates to the game, give them a pirate hunting mission, or just leave them as free roamers in grey space. IMO, I'd much rather see those then JUST lame ass atlases flying around that stop when you shoot them. This is suppost to be the year 4000+ right, and we've populated how many systems? and yet all you ever see flying around in space are dumb bots and dumb atlases, nothing else. Where are all the commercial transports, personal space craft, where's the life, to me it's just too sparse. And I know that at least one of you will say that the game isn't finished, but so what, that's not that hard to implement, just take existing scripts for strikeforce's and npc traders and use the player controlable ship art for the ships and wa'la!! Even test out a cloaking system with them, then you'll really get the ufo feel, one minute they were on your radar, the next they are gone, but they are still in the sector list, where'd they go? 0_0c

I never said that NPC pirates were bad... as a matter of fact, NPC pirates are good! But something that is basically guaranteed death is indeed bad.
