how to fix pirating, make space scary, and make pie!

in an ion storm, make one of the worm-hole anamations in the middle, you jump in a 300m bubble if you come into the ion-sector, you at 10m go closer to the hole, and slowly, it goes faster, if you touch it, you get to see a nice anamation of yourself getting sucked in, and poof, you die. the ore's in the ion sectors will have a tag *ion-ised ore* and be worth 2 times more. (pretty much, an black-hole of shorts. not nearly as strong, but since you jump in the 300m bubble, pirates can get you, I hope we get small random black holes in every sector, and a few big ones that float in sectors.)

pretty much adding all the ideas togeather in a do-able format. the 300m jumping bubble wont take much work for the devs, and the ores getting a tag wont, either.

tear it apart people!

It would be better if you explained your idea more thoroughly. I'm confused as to what you're suggesting.

I don't know about your other posts- I don't usually notice who wrote something unless its someone I've conversed with at some length. This one, though, I found rather hard to follow. The first sentence, in particular, I read like 5 times and still don't know exactly what you're saying... something about jumping out of an ion storm being dangerous?
I can relate, though. I have often posted in various forums and been totally ignored while posts I found redundant or inane were replied to by many people. Funnily enough, a search for my last name on Wikipedia will turn up "Warnock's Dilemma" which is:

The problem with no response is that there are five possible
interpretations:

1) The post is correct, well-written information that needs no
follow-up commentary. There's nothing more to say except "Yeah, what
he said."

2) The post is complete and utter nonsense, and no one wants to waste
the energy or bandwidth to even point this out.

3) No one read the post, for whatever reason.

4) No one understood the post, but won't ask for clarification, for
whatever reason.

5) No one cares about the post, for whatever reason.

PS. I don't know Bryan or whether we're related.

Yes I gave up when I read it too.
I concluded that the post could mean various sorts of things that I didn't wish to post upon, seeing how I didn't exactly know what you were talking about.

well, I was half asleep, let me sum it up for ya'

:when you jump into an ion storm, you arrive in a 300m bubble in the middle, and around 500m away, there is a "blackhole" only, weaker, it slowly sucks you in at speeds starting at 20m and gets ffaster (150 near the middle) thus, making better for pirates, and adds that "ahhh I'm about to lose my cargo" scary-ness. for the mini blackhole, use the old warping into a sector anamation, slightly modded.

for the ion ore....simply make it so any ore in a sector with an ion storm gets "tagged" and adds on the name "ionized" and simply have the price be higher.

then, finaly, add an random blackhole event, that has blackholes apper in sectors. if it is near a wormhole sector, you jump out near the hole, in the blackhole sector.

the storm part helps pirates, and everything else is just plain cool.

p.s gosh, I haven't had someone have problems with my writing since alpha. it WAS 3 am tho =D

Ok I like the black hole idea.
Also, supposing the trader doesn't make it out of the black hole, you should be transported into another dimension.
(aka loading screen and new sector!)

Once in there you find the followers of AKAN and they kill you.
Unless of course your loved by itani and hated by serco.

At this point in the time Akanese try to CONVERT you using their super cool weaponry to smoke your ship and then tell you to convert or die.

So basically, I like the black hole idea.
