I have looked at various posts about changing the music in the Game. and I found some [pc] people able play the .ogg files. On my Mac all files are hidden, I just have the one application icon.
I think it would be nice if all the game music was available on the website for individual download in .ogg format. After all, we are paying into this game monthly. we should be able to have the game music files to play. Blizzard has all the music from Diablo 2 online and some if it is great.
I realize some people hate the game music in Vendetta, I am one who enjoys listening to all sorts of video game music, especially if I am working on something where I rather be playing video games. Some of the Vendetta music is cool, and some of the Serco Music (since I have Itani character) I never get to hear... unless I am being swarmed by a fleet of serco ships.
Please make the soundtrack available for download.

None of us can play the official .ogg files. Those were made by Strategy First and aren't distributed except inside the media.rlb binary, which is rather difficult to extract information from.
Although it would be cool to have the original music back - the first track they put in way back when.
Mac OS X applications are, for the most part, "bundled" into an "application package". These are actually directories that the system shows as single files because it knows it contains one single entity: the application (and it's components).
You can view what's inside an application package by Control-Clicking the application and selecting "Show package content". it'll open up a window with the content of this "Application package" directory.
Dont mess around too much, though, if you don't know what you're doing.

Actually sometime ago a1k0n put VO music for download i think it was when they first put in game. I think i still have it somwhere.

You can infact play them ingame from inside the media file with the /playmusic command - the game treats the media file like a folder inside the vendetta folder (or package), I just cannot remember the path to the files :P

Starfisher, the original music ("ambient7.ogg") was written by me, and that can be redistributed at will. I used to have it on my webserver, but I seem to have deleted it when clearing up some space. I can put it back online for anyone who wants it, and I know some other people on here have it as well.
