Could we have it so that players drop Scrap Metal too, except when they die it's personalized scrap? So like if I die someone could get "Smittens' Scrap Metal" Seems like a cool way to make trophy-like thing, and doesn't seem too hard to add.

And if devs have a lot of time, maybe if someone has more kills their scrap sells for more

And maybe when someone dies in an Orion Cent they drop Orion Cent Scrap too (in addition to NAME Scrap), and you can use that to craft an Orion Cent!

Or maybe for the "The more kills they have the more its worth" idea, base it on their K/D ratio, so that someone can't just /explode and take their own

collecting named scrap may or may not lead to a stronger focus on individuals in VO. I'm not quite sure this is a good idea. I'd much rather go the other way and keep ships of other nations as "unknown" until you were given the ID of that pilot by the pilot.
