BP b0rkage

Okay, if there are Itani/Serco in the BP sector, they NEED to count toward kills when BPing for the opposing side.

I was in there for almost an hour today, and racked up at least 2 dozen PKs, but when I had about 7 left to kill in order to complete my mission, the Itanis bailed out on their mission and kept coming in... so I had to kill them, but couldn't get credit for my time or ammo.

Coming into the BP sector without taking a mission in order to hinder the opposing team is a filthy tactic that's been used a lot lately to make the other team quit.

Well, mission success motherfuckers! I had to log for the night, because I have shit do do in the morning, and thanks to you, I couldn't finish the mission. congrats.

Well i agree with you. that's not fair !
Itani who done that should be ashamed!

Heh. Sounds like a good tactic to me. Nice job, 'tani swine.

Heh, ok, we'll have to figure out some way of handling that. BP will probably get revamped in the not-too-distant future (along with BS and all that).

Does anyone else find it somewhat bizarre when people who are usually complaining about lack of content, also celebrate tactics used by some to basically undermine the content that is already in place?

Hey, there's a huge difference between the presence of content and the way in which players interact with it.

In this particular case, Cunjo isn't complaining about the lack of "content." He's whining about the itchy sand in his @#gina, because he's not being rewarded for all itani kills in the BP sector.

Should all enemy kills count towards the mission? Sure. But the current BP, which is really just an alternative to botting rather than true plot advancing content, isn't being "undermined." Rather, the mission requires that participants kill certain types of enemies. The itani, rather than choosing to sign up for their own BP and fight the Serco while obtaining rewards, elect to fight, sans reward of BP, to preclude a serco completion of the mission.

In actuality, by denying a Serco the chance to complete a mission, the Itani are taking the limited current content and using it to advance an RP objective. Good for them, screw Cunjo.

Hey, whatever works for you, I guess.

Heh, I used to just go straight to the wormhole and try to jump people there...that was back in the IA days.

We discovered mining WHs didn't really work, even with 8 people. :(

Did get a bunch of kills though. :D

Most were me :-/ Who ever knew Lmines could hurt people of your own nation? Not Smittens!

Hey I though the whole reason for BP was to force Itanis and Sercos to fight, so don't complain that you can't finish your mission "cause the evil tanis are stopping me". Not completing missions is also part of the game you know, can't win em all.

But a more constructive remark. Why not create a mirror of BP in serco space. That way each nation gets 2 missions. 1) Protect the border (normal Itani BP) 2) Invade the enemy border (normal Serco BP)

Having to fight in you own space does give you some advantages (bases closer for one).
