In character creation, in the choosing of a nation, there is an empty space above each nation's name that says "Image will go here". Of course, there is no reason that putting an image there sometime soon should be a priority, since there are much more important things at hand. But I thought we could organize a contest for concept art of each of the three nations, and the best drawings or whatever can be implemented into that space in the game. What do you think?

I think its a neat idea, this one and the previous. The only reason I didn't engage in the previous is because I'm loathe to waste anymore time than I already do on Vendetta. On the other hand, I would be very interested if we got the Devs on board.

The only problem being with that is they would have to have an out in case nobody came up with something they approved of.

Even if they approved of no particular design of ours, Gavan, they would get some inspirational material, and that wouldn't be a bad thing, either.

Being an insect isn't that bad, I guess... we'll just wait until you go extinct, then take over.

Other than that, I don't exactly remember the nation logos from the playerbase, but I think I they were OK, weren't they?

ctishman made some logos somewhere once. I didn't really like them all that much, but, then again, I didn't DIS-like them either. I wasn't terribly inspired by them, but never got off my ass enough to do anything myself.

But ask ctishman about 'em.
