Hi I'm new, so sorry if this has been suggested, but it sounds like the pirates are hard and in large groups. So, why not randomly get like 20 people and just go group or just slaughter all the pirates in a sector?

This would be an interesting sanctioned event, but anyone who loves flight sims can't wait for the action.

Actually TGFT (and other traders' defenders) sometimes groups and go clear Sedina-Latos wormhole from pirates. They have some more group events too

You can do it yourself, too... If I get bored in VO, I mostly hang out in Sedina B-8 out of nostalgia and blast the UnBots for cargo and fun.
