Ship Scale

One of the suggestions I'd like to make is to alter to scale of ships to more accurately portray what they are and what they do.

One of the things I like about Eve, or even Freelancer, is that there are ship categories with relative ship scale to them. A transport ship is usually long, squarish, and bulky. A light fighter is small, speedy, and lightly armored. A heavy fighter is big, armored, and mean looking. Vendetta really lacks that feeling. All of the ships are more or less the same size and cargo ships don't look really look cargo shipish. The exception, of course, are the capital ships but that's going from one extreme to another to be honest.

A proper ship scale like: Light Fighter (Frigate), Fighter (Cruiser), Heavy Fighter (Battleship), Transport, Freighter, Capital Ships would probably make this game feel a whole lot more immersive.

On the other hand, I also realize about the limitations with the station docking situation, but maybe stations could be modified to have a bay for bigger ships akin to the one you see in Starship Troopers (the movie), when Denise Richard's character reverses out of the dock and nearly gives her instructor a heart attack.

I LOVE STARSHIP TROOPERS!!!!!!!

i dont think there is a problem with the scale right now but it does look like some ships are smaller than they actually are but if you put your ship next to a behemoth and use the camera to get a look at the ships from farther away tou will notice that there is a considerable difference in size. once i took a pic of my hornet next to the smallest kind of capship in the game and it was like looking at one of those tiny european cars next to a semi truck.
p.s. remember to destroy all hippies.
