Messageboard time
Since the time of posts displayed on the messageboard does not use the user's time zone, and has seemingly no relation to GMT, and does not mark the threads that were active since last visit, could the time the page was served be displayed somewhere, so the visitors can calculate how long ago it was? At the moment I just have to either use an earlier post that I made as a reference, or treat all posts not made "today" as old.
This is a non-urgent suggestion, and should probably go on the big pile of things to do with the website.

It's Guild Software Standard Time.
Also known as Central Time.
Or, GMT-6.
Always, or just right now?
GMT does not change to Daylight Saving Time and back, so most GMT+x zones are at GMT+x+1 right now, and due to change back on 29th October at 1:00 GMT.

It works fine for me, since, well, I'm in Central Standard Time. Heh. So I never noticed that this might be a problem.
It seems like a feasable feature to remember the user's preferred timezone and display the messages to them in their preferred timezone setting, if the user is logged in.
Or, I could just use an already known solution and move to the US!
