I changed the fog in verasi awhile ago, due to complaints.

fog colours should be darkened and less saturated, oh and up the vis by 1000 meters too while yer at it.

Fog colors and visibility will potentially depend on the contents of the sector and other factors. If there's a particular color that isn't liked, state what it is, since we have at least four in production right now.

fog colours should be darkened and less saturated...

The contrast/brightness seems fine. The colour balance on the other hand (and I wouldn't just suggest reducing the saturation as that would require roids with no colour themselves)...

I would say that the green hue in Verasi is a bit too close to an actual green, especially given the amount of random debris from the containing roids that would be thrown into the air along with the ores.

Most fog would likely be a mix of:

70% Asteroid colour
30% Ore colour

on that note the purple fog in deneb is real funky.

Purple? It should be blue.

get your monitor/eye's checked i call fog is definitely purple.

I would like to confirm that it is infact blue. I can see why you might call it purple, though..

Worth noting, the grey fog that was in latos m7 a bit ago was pretty awesome (I dunno if it's still there). by pretty awesome, I mean "implement it as the standard now". great job on that one devs :)

Yeah, I use the gray fog as my test-fog now. I have it in some crazy-dense sectors on test. I think it is still in Latos M7, too.

And, yes, the Deneb fog is most definitely blue. It does have a little red in it, but too little to be purple.

Ooh, where are these crazy-dense sectors? I wanna look...

System 32. Outside the galaxy, basically. Umm, I don't remember sector numbers off the top of my head. The one on there right now isn't insanely dense, it's just huge. I'm having issues with inter-penetrating asteroids in really dense ones, which will require more work.

Does my /oper on test get me to system 32? :P

/me doubts very much

Yes, I think so. It just requires the right sector ID.

I think storm extenders don't do squat in the 'fog' effects. Atleast, that;s what I've seen..

They can, it depends on the fog settings (on our end).
