It would be better if the capships does not become enemy simply for collisions. Damage remains as is.

All damage resulting from collisions of players with capships should "be forgiven" and do not make them enemies. Capships are protected by shield and should have been planned to support 'combat landings'.

Why?
Since it is very hard to dock a manouvering trident, in combat. How many times when you were about to dock it moves, you ram on it, and it instantly goes from green to red? This should not happen.

If you are on a mission with a capship, and you bump on it, it should remain friendly. Green on radar. Allow you use its turrets. To become enemy, one must shoot on it.

I know you continue being able to dock with it, but that also is illogical that you can dock with a ship red on radar, i.e., an enemy ship. You should remain able to dock with it, but its friend/foe status should be kept equal to docking rights.

I agree. I think the reason it happens is because in hitting a cappie it damages you and there for the game lists it as hostile. What ever the cause its a PITA.

*bump*

Maybe it would be much more interesting if all collisions are 'forgiven', not resulting in becoming enemy. Even on NFZ.

And yes, I foresee many provocations inside NFZs, and don't think it is a bad thing.

And this would also fix some AI problems now...

The green vs. red radar blips are purely informational and are client-side. The color of the blip does not affect anything. We can maybe make it so that bumping into another wouldn't flag them as an enemy though.

Alright, other players green blips won't turn red when you collide with them. That's going into tonight's update.
