I don't buy it. My vote stays with Tunguska. They've only got ships anyway.

So what you're saying is that all UIT are only traders/miners, all Serco are only warriors and all Itani are only artists.

No. I'm saying high-grade mining equipment should go to the faction or nation that is actually purposed for mining. As if a militaristic government would put any kind of funds into developing such high-grade mining equipment.. pah.

History is filled with militaristic governments putting money into other areas. I am curious though, where do you live, that only the government funds research and development?

Usually they outsource it to specialized companies, as Tunguska or Orion

There ya go Nahin... Alloh agrees with you. Are you happy now? I'll try to find you a support group that specializes in this type of trauma.

Alloh, I'll humor you. Leaving aside your ridiculous ascertain that a government (which is the only group of people that do research and development in your world as well as Nahins) would subcontract work on specialized (and likely at first, secret) equipment to a different nation, what do you suppose would be the result of that company selling something a government contracted them to make to other people?
More than that, what do you suppose the reaction of the Serco government would be?

It is because the Serco are a military government that they would not subcontract something that could give them an advantage in finding resources to improve their their production of weapons and ships.

Last time i checked, both Serco and Itani contract out all kinds of stuff. Example: TPG Teradon frigates in border skirmishes.

Yes, they do buy cappies when they really ought to be making their own, but... that is a topic for a different thread.

Why do you defend the Serco getting this so much? What you're saying is/may be true. You're not at all paying any attention to what I'm saying. Give the serco some lesser piece of mining equipment. Serco are going to be more focused upon developing military technology, perhaps not completely, but still more than mining tech. Tunguska is focused more upon developing mining tech, though still not completely. Serco are not going to be so focused on putting research money into developing mining equipment, and in case you haven't noticed, Serco space isn't filled with a crapload of corporations likely to do so either. Tunguska is one such corporation that may do so, but they have no serious connections with the Serco.

I can't dumb my concept down anymore. Pay some attention to it or stop responding with pathetic insults to my posts.

I disagree. Serco space has mining stations. Serco space has research stations. The Serco have ships and equipment made of processed ores. Making a device to find ore is not even remotely a stretch of the imagination, I don't think I can dumb it down any more than that. Though my point hasn't changed, except in my trying to simplify a simple concept even further.

Maybe if I was sixteen, I could put this in terms you'd understand.
