If the exploit you are discussing is from my post from almost a year ago, then I was talking about how it would be bad to show the ammo remaining ONLY for missile turrets. But that should easy enough to make an exception for. And yes, they do have finite ammo (ask Lecter).

To be fair, though, we only know they have finite ammo once they're dropped as an equippable item. I have no confirmation they have a finite number of rounds when they're live as turrets. Would make sense, though.

The missile turret NPCs themselves don't have finite ammo, they just have a reload timer. I've flown around enough conquerable stations to know that turrets #7 and #8 -never- run out of those nasty things...
